主讲人简介：王岁杰，湖南大学数学学院教授，博士生导师。2010年博士毕业于香港科技大学，导师陈北方教授。研究方向是超平面配置的组合学，包括超平面配置的代数组合、组合分类、组合计数、组合测度等问题，相关成果发表在组合论A/B等专业期刊。
A hyperplane arrangement A over a finite-dimensional vector space V is a collection of affine hyperplanes. The combinatorial structure of A is captured by its intersection poset L(A), which records the intersections of these hyperplanes. The characteristic polynomial χ(A,t) of A is the most important invariant, with deep connections to combinatorial, algebraic and topological properties of A. In this talk, we will introduce an ideal decomposition of L(A) that enables the factorization of χ(A,t) into the product of characteristic polynomials of lower ideals of L(A).
